Scarcello Images was the inevitable result of Harrell Scarcello's love for all things visual. She has transformed her passion for interior design into a deep dive into photography. She brings a discerning eye and heightened color sense into her pursuit of images that tell a story beautifully. She is fascinated by both the built environment and the geometry found in nature.
Harrell’s haunting photo of the former lobby of the Michigan Theatre was selected in a global competition for the My Detroit Postcard exhibit at the US Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2016. The exhibit also travelled to MOCAD in Detroit and the A+D Architecture and Design Museum in Los Angeles.
Her work has also won awards in juried exhibitions and photo competitions.
